BIO

With an extensive Classical music training as her background, Jade, is now an emerging indie/pop multi-instrumentalist of a singer/songwriter artist in Toronto,, sharing her sweet, melodic, and some fun tongue-and-cheek songs embedded into her set lists. Influences from Sara Bareilles, Ingrid Michaelson, Jason Mraz, Meiko, and others, make her inspirations spark, and their music continuously fuels her passion for writing and performing.

At the age of 14, she knew she would become a music teacher of some sort, but always aspired to do more than just that.  After many trials and failures of writing songs during the years, for the most part, she dived into composing piano pieces, which solidified only in the recent years.  Her mindset for doing what she is doing now, is that it's never too late to start.  That being said, began her songwriting career.

After having a couple of Cinematic/New Age/Solo pieces on her belt, that was when creativity really sparked.  You can now catch her in gigs with other singer/songwriters around the city, with her three instruments (thus far), the keyboard/synth, ukulele and guitar (and the most recent project of hers, the loop pedal).

Jade also, played keys for a number of local bands on occasion, alongside The Human Trampoline, The Bad Apples, and The Minions, to name a few.
